What Are Dental Bridges?
A tooth crown is placed on each natural tooth on either side of the gap, so that the false tooth can be bonded between them. They can be removable or fixed (permanently attached). This treatment is very durable and will last for several years. However, bridges may need to be re-cemented due to normal wear. Missing teeth should be replaced and a bridge is a great way to restore your dental health.
There are many Reasons for a Fixed Bridge, including:
Fills the space caused by missing teeth
Prevents other teeth from moving out of position
Maintains facial shape and smile
Restores speaking and chewing ability

Is a Bridge Right For Me?
Bridges offer the benefit of functionality and appearance of a healthy smile. However, dental health is the most important reason for considering a bridge. When teeth are missing, many avoidable problems can arise, as stress is placed on the gums and tissues. For example, gum disease is a known risk of missing teeth.
